A picture is worth a thousand words

The phrase ‘mug shot’ comes to mind, as does ‘rogues’ gallery’ and ‘stunned mullet’.

Albanese famously loves “fighting Tories”. If only he loved fighting terrorism. If only he had a broader perspective then university politics. If only he hadn’t encouraged anti-Israel hatred by recognising a non existent Palestine. If only … so many things.

These are images used by The Australian today in its extensive coverage of the Bondi Beach terror attack last Sunday.

Referring to the attack, The Australian’s foreign editor Greg Sheridan wrote: ‘This represents a catastrophic failure by the Albanese government. The people morally responsible for these attacks are the people who carried them out. But the Albanese government is responsible for its woeful response to a situation that has been unfolding for years, and which its own actions have made worse.”
