Humility, kindness, and love – a global pursuit

The fifth International Conference of Humility, Kindness and Love (HKL) Conference will take place on Saturday, 31 January and Sunday 1 February 2026, at the Sydney Coliseum Theatre, Rooty Hill.

Event Organising Coordinator, Manji Hothi, describes HKL as “a non-profit organisation and a universal, non-religious global movement. While it honours the wisdom found across diverse faiths and traditions, it remains open and inclusive to all people, regardless of religion, culture, age, or nationality.

“At a time when Australia is seeking greater unity, deeper compassion, and stronger, more connected communities, HKL offers a timely and purposeful response by championing the universal values of humility, kindness, and love. These values underpin meaningful dialogue, mutual understanding, and social harmony. Through its initiatives, HKL creates inclusive spaces where individuals from all walks of life can come together to listen, learn, and reconnect in a spirit of respect and shared humanity.

“The conference offers significant benefits for attendees by nurturing connection, reflection, and emotional wellbeing. It also responds to the growing mental health challenges of our time by encouraging healthy conversations, strengthening personal resilience, and cultivating a deeper sense of inner peace and social connection.

“The HKL movement is currently active in 47 countries. Recent conferences have welcomed participants from 31 nations, with attendance growing from 4,000 to 6,000, and most recently exceeding 8,000 participants. HKL has also received strong global encouragement. At our most recent conference, the Canadian Prime Minister, the Honourable Mark Carney, conveyed his endorsement through a formal letter of support. This international support has strengthened our ability to reach broader communities, expand global initiatives, and develop meaningful partnerships that promote unity, wellbeing, and cross-cultural collaboration worldwide.

“For the 2026 Sydney conference, we anticipate welcoming approximately 2,000 attendees, including a significant number of international visitors.”
