Next Exit to Nuclear Road

Andrew L. Urban

Why we really need nuclear energy – urgently? To shut up the climate alarmists. (That’s why the Greens oppose nuclear …)

The multi billion dollar newly forged Net Zero problem for politicians and corporates is that the underlying scientific knowledge has never shown that fossil fuel emissions drive warming. That’s right, it’s a furphy, as most of us know. The whole world’s massive political climate fantasy is based on the assumption that the original claim as made popular by the likes of Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth is actual science. “Annual human emissions (3% of the total) of carbon dioxide are meant to drive global warming. This has never been shown. If it could be shown, then it would also have to be shown that natural emissions (97%) don’t drive global warming,” as I like to quote geologist Ian Plimer.

I also like to quote him from his book Heaven and Earth: “The history of temperature change over time is related to the shape of continents, the shape of the sea floor, the pulling apart of the crust, the stitching back together of the crust, the opening and closing of sea ways, changes in the Earth’s orbit, changes in solar energy, supernoval eruptions, comet dust, impacts by comets and asteroids, volcanic activity, bacteria, soil formation, sedimentation, ocean currents and the chemistry of air. If we humans, in a fit of ego, think we can change these normal planetary processes, then we need stronger medication.”

Let’s remember, the IPCC was set up (1988) to serve the purposes of the UN Framework on Convention on Climate Change. The ultimate objective of the UNFCCC, it was stated, is to “stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic [i.e., man-made] interference with the climate system”. This was the equivalent of saying “man made emissions are the cause of global warming”; and we can use that to control politics in our favour. That’s the same IPCC which can’t tell right from wrong (see The Delinquent Teenager )

But of course the uninformed, unquestioning and unprepared have been swept along with fake data and easily falsified false propositions like “97% of scientists agree…” So Climate Change has become cemented into everything by the unquestioning confidence of the truly ignorant. Imagine calling life supporting carbon dioxide ‘pollution’.

12 ty old terrified by end-of-world warming

Once you accept the premise that fossil fuels drive warming, you are trapped. You can’t be a shrinking, half pregnant climate activist; you have to go the whole hog. Make school kids cry in fear. Scare adults to rely on renewables (and make more millionaires with taxpayer money). It is impossible for politicians to backtrack when the herd is charging towards the cliff of Net Zero. Scott Morrison and his team are perfectly well aware that fossil fuels do not really drive warming (what little of it can be measured of late). There is a great deal of scientific evidence to show that it is the other way round: increasing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere follows any warming. But the herd hears no reason.

I don’t quite know how I would explain such blatant stupidity to an alien, some of whom seem to be circling American military planes and appearing to toy with the idea of coming out of the UFO closet.

The bottom line for Australia as Glasgow’s COP26 looms in November, is that we are locked into the global madness of crowds (pace Douglas Murray). Those who have not been conned by the Marxist activism masquerading as concern for the planet can only hope Australia takes the next exit and heads for nuclear road. (Let’s see Chris Kenny’s Going Nuclear doco on Sky News, Oct. 25)

This carbon dioxide hating madness is why I hope that Australia, richly endowed with uranium, can stumble into the nuclear age … better late than never. Imagine our politics (and daily life) without the bile of climate hype about greenhouse gases!

One Response to Next Exit to Nuclear Road

The hypocracy of a nation which sells mountains of coal to other countries so they can burn it , then denies its own citizens the cheapest of fuels to power our electricity grid is just without bounds. A warmer planet grows more food. The rise in average temperatures has not been calculated with the undeniable factor being that when the industrial revolution began we were coming out of a mini ice age . Of course the rise is more obvious as you come out of a very cold period in history. Ask the German armies in Russia ! We have had a nuclear reactor at Lucas Heights for decades. As you know Andrew , nothing is as it seems. Only the good die young ….There are many ways of dying ! One is to be wrongly accused, maliciously prosecuted and incarcerated. I have had no voice , until you came along Andrew , for that I thank you ! To most ways of thinking A man with no voice is dead. My voice must be heard before the inevitable robs others of what everyone needs to know …..the truth. Kind regards Peter Versi
